To my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. Welcome into our fold, and thank you for choosing to worship the Lord with us.

As fellow Christians, we would love to share a few things with you, such as our Church History and the founder's dream. Secondly, we wish to tell you about our faith and why we believe in Christ Jesus. Also, we would love to have you meet the Church Pastors and read their messages of faith.

Our website will contain prayers, sermons, and short Biblical stories that most Christians will love and find helpful during their walk with the Lord.

Your brother in Christ,

Pastor Dennis.

  CHURCH HISTORY

       A Husband wife ministry

The late Herbert and Evangelist Gladys Jarvis of Middletown, New York
Founded, The Gospel Mission Church in 1961.

A Husband-Wife Ministerial Team Dedicated To Serving Mechanicstown Spiritual Needs.

A husband-wife-ministerial team, dedicated to preaching and teaching the Christian gospel, has put their varied talents to work in remodeling a church to serve the spiritual needs of a racially intergraded Mechanicstown congregation.

The Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Jarvis of 5 Fair Ave said they are both licensed ministers of the New York General   Conference of the Bethel AME Church.

Their desire to serve a parish of their own remained unfulfilled until they were able to rent the former Nazarene Church and establish the "Voice of the Gospel Mission Church. The church is on Fairfax Avenue, Middletown, New York.

Rev. and Mrs. Jarvis were regular worshippers at the church when it was owned and operated by the Nazarenes.   After the sect sold the church to a private citizen, the building stood idle for many months. The desire for their church grew keener. We felt we were called by the Lord to preach said Mrs. Jarvis
